But it still has code I believe a new bios might work, but the problem lies in the drivers retaining something in ram during a reboot, that messes them up when they are loaded. Message 8 of I have tried everything described in troubleshooting guides available online, including disabling and enabling the ethernet device, 82566mmc and reinstalling the ethernet device and updating the drivers, but to no avail.
One laptop was working fine, the other the network adapter would fail with the code 10 error.

The only way I could make it function again is by switching off my notebook, unplugging and replugging the power adapter and finally switching the notebook on again. On the failing laptop, I deleted the 5 82656mc listed above, shut down the computer, unplugged power and battery, reconnected power and battery, restarted the computer. I also think it has something to do with the latest bios I have tried everything described in troubleshooting guides available online, including disabling and enabling the ethernet device, uninstalling and reinstalling the ethernet device and updating the drivers, but to no avail.
