In my opinion an unsatisfiable answer. By now I have a firm opinion that these companies just can’t write proper drivers for their sound hardware, regardless of how “high end” it might be. I hope you get it to work again in Win7. I just upgraded to Windows 7 and wanted to continue to use my Terratec 6fire. Bought specific models since and only had issues with standard win2k drivers not having all features. There are many differences between Windows 7 and XP that cause a need for new drivers.

The system works really fast so if everything goes well, I am not going back to XP! Sound settings in W7: Maybe XP and 7 have more architectural differences than I thought. Looks like guruboolez beat me to the post with a more official and newer version. That and drivers for Windows Vista work too. I had the same card, but abandoned it when I upgraded to a new computer and win 7.
Anyway, when the W7 compatibility checker said it wouldn’t work with W7, I decided it was time to move on. Thanks for checking it out for me.

In Sensaura mode it works like usual, but of course digital in is not accessible and you have to reboot the PC each time to change the mode. Bear in mind that, even though other operating systems might winzp compatible as well, it is not recommend that you apply any software on platforms other than the specified ones.
The 6fire was a good card 7 years back, but the converters are not comprable to anything around nowdays. There 6fide no material that is knowingly illegal here.
