Installed new version, and connected printer as requested. I did 1,2,3,4,5 all without rebooting i. I did not have any lxcz files, just files begining with lx. Wednesday, April 4, 2: I do have lx???. I left those alone and moved nothing.
However, the lack of that file did NOT stop me from getting the printer working. The only question I have is – I moved all the lx files from the C: I really enjoy this printer and sure don’t wana throw it in the pile of obsolete equipment yet. Windows Vista IT Pro. Installed the latest drivers for Vista, available late march.

Friday, April 6, 2: Install went ok, no errors. Sunday, April 8, 1: I checked the lxmark you specified and had no lxcs files whatsoever, or LXBX files exists.
Lexmark x will not communicate with Vista
I cannot get Lexmark to respond to me on live chat or by email. Did a search, and again on such files exists on my computer. Actually, it caused my computer to reboot in safe mode. I uninstalled old version, disconnected printer power and USB. Tuesday, April 10, 4: My suggestion is to move them all out of that directory.
Anyhoo, when I was done, I could print a test page. If so, what is the directory? I got a hold of Lexmark tech support and lexark it working.

Should I put them back? Move them to a temp directory.
Thank you for your post – I had gone through Lexmark’s pexmark support via chat several times and nothing worked. Disconnect the USB Cable.
